Guide to Krakatau



Krakatau is a volcanic island that is still active and is in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra. This name has been pinned on a volcanic peak there (Mount Krakatoa), which is extinguished by its own eruptions on 26-27 August 1883. The eruption was very terrible; warm clouds and tsunami caused beating around 36,000 souls. Krakatau is currently tourist destination for most people who love adventure while enjoying the beauty of nature around Krakatau.

Tours that can be done in this Krakatau:

1. Krakatau mountain climbing, saw the waste discharge crater, with a journey time of around 30-45 minutes normal. Joram peak to two before the first peak, extraordinarily beautiful scenery.


2. Snorkeling in the area around the island / mountain Krakatau, its quite beautiful coral stone.


3. Enjoying the view, swimming and snorkeling in Kumang Island, an island near the island Sabesi, small island with beautiful white sand.
